However, this might take a bit of time to research the best bakeries in Paris and what pastries they’re famous for!

Or you can make it as spontaneous as possible by just popping in any bakery and asking for what you want since there is literally a bakery on every turn you make in Paris.

Going to a museum might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of romance in Paris but the Louvre museum is an exception, especially for couples that love art.

And because of its grandeur, I recommend putting aside at least one full afternoon or a couple of hours to be able to see at least a bit of it since it’s impossible to see everything in one visit.

Looking for what to do in Paris as a couple, then head to Montmartre. Perched on a hill, Montmartre is the most charming neighborhood in Paris in my opinion!

With cute cafes and pretty streets on every turn, Montmartre offers a lot that cannot be imagined except when exploring it.

From a vibrant lifestyle to the artistic charm that can be seen all around the city, Montmartre is one of the most romantic places in Paris.

The fun part about exploring Montmartre is having both of you painted by one of the many artists in Montmartre whose stalls welcome you in this hilly district.

Honestly, you can’t ask for a better souvenir from Paris than a painting with your loved one.

Other than the painting, there are so many things to do in Montmartre like taking in the views from the Sacré-Cœur, enjoying ice cream at popular ice cream shops, or even just strolling the charming streets as you explore the artistic side of Paris.

19. Cruise on the Lakes in Bois de Boulogne

For couples that want to opt for non-touristy things in Paris and connect with nature while still staying in the heart of the city, heading to Bois de Boulogne Parc in the 16th arrondissement of Paris will give you that quality time with your loved one.

Bois de Boulogne which is commonly known as the left lung of Paris is an enormous tranquil public park with a number of lakes, beautiful botanical gardens, a waterfall, 2 Michelin-starred restaurants, and a Hippodrome horse racing track which makes for a perfect escape from the busy life of Paris.

You can choose to just chill in the park and explore the beautiful botanical gardens but the best way to enjoy a romantic trip in Paris in Bois de Boulogne Parc is by renting a boat and cruising on one of its lakes.

You can opt for hiring a private boat and cruise on your own while enjoying the serenity that comes with it as you also appreciate the beautiful views or you can hire a boat and its sailor so that you enjoy the cruise with no hustles of rowling it yourselves.

But regardless of what you choose to do, cruising on the lakes in Bois de Boulogne Parc is one of the romantic things for couples to do in Paris.

There is no better way to enjoy a romantic night in Paris than riding in the famous vintage Citroen 2VC.

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend a romantic weekend in Paris, then nothing beats riding in a hot air Balloon.

Not many people know that this activity is possible but it sure is doable in Pars! Imagine you and your loved one up in the air, taking in all the stunning views over Paris. It can’t get any more romantic than this.

Though fun and thrilling, there are just a few companies that offer this activity, so I recommend going for this Hot Air Balloon ride over Fontainebleau Chateau for an amazing time! It’s a bit pricey but no date in Paris comes close to being as thrilling and fun as this one.

22. Explore Musée de la Vie Romantique

Paris is the city of love and there is no better way to prove that the city lives up to its nickname than having a museum dedicated to love and romance.

However, due to structural hazards caused by the weight of the locks, the bridge couldn’t sustain it anymore and it’s no longer allowed to add new locks.

But even with that, Pont des Arts is still very much a place that celebrates love, and visiting it with your loved one is still one of the cool Paris couple activities.

All you have to do is to book a bike from the many bike rental stations, choose where on the Seine you’d like to bike and you’ll have a memorable and romantic time with your loved one.

The food was absolutely delicious and the wine paired well with everything!

You’ll also have a front-row view of all the major landmarks of Paris including the Louvre museum, Seine River, Place de la Concorde, and more, and then end at the Eiffel Tower exactly when it’s shimmering at the top of the hour.

The bus also offers a video guide that you can use to learn about the popular places you see along the way, but you might not even use it as you’ll be focused on your partner, the food, and the views.
