Dreams in Paris is a leading travel platform offering practical advice and insider tips to help visitors experience Paris like locals.
Founded by Esther in 2021 as a simple travel blog, it has since evolved into a full-fledged travel brand.
What started with written guides has expanded to include engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Our mission is to go beyond the typical tourist spots, sharing Paris’s hidden gems, local culture, and lesser-known areas to inspire both first-time and seasoned travelers.
Position Overview
We’re looking for talented, creative, and charismatic content creators who live in and around Paris and are passionate about this city.
If you know Paris inside and out, beyond the typical tourist attractions, and have a knack for being in front of the camera, we’d love to hear from you!
As a content creator for Dreams in Paris, you’ll create short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and long-form YouTube videos, sharing insider tips, lesser-known spots, and authentic Parisian experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging video content that showcases both well-known landmarks and hidden gems, focusing on authentic, local experiences.
- Work closely with the Dreams in Paris team to develop new content ideas that align with our mission.
- Stay updated on social media trends and apply them when relevant.
- Explore different areas of Paris and share your local knowledge and love for the city with the world.
Skills & Experience
- Must live in Paris or its suburbs and have extensive knowledge of the city beyond tourist spots.
- Prior experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and/or YouTube.
- Confident on camera, with a natural, engaging presence.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Ability to come up with engaging hooks that will keep viewers “hooked”.
- Good communication skills.
- Creative storytelling with a passion for showcasing the real Paris and sharing practical tips.
- Own equipment capable of producing high-quality video content (a good smartphone or camera and a microphone).
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- A great understanding of how social media works.
Deliverables
We expect a commitment to create;
- 2 short-form videos per week (60-90 seconds each), optimized for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- After 1 or 2 months of working together on short-form content, we’ll begin producing long-form videos for YouTube. At that point, you’ll create 2 long-form videos per month (1 every 2 weeks), each with a minimum of 8 minutes.
While you’ll have flexibility in scheduling your work, maintaining these content deliverables is key to the growth and consistency of Dreams in Paris.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for Paris, knows the city well, and is eager to grow with us. This is a long-term partnership, so you should be planning to stay in Paris for the foreseeable future.
This role is ideal for someone starting out in content creation or a student eager to build their portfolio while gaining hands-on experience in content creation for a growing travel brand. If you’re enthusiastic and creative and know Paris well, we’d love to hear from you!
