Fall weather in Paris is a bit chilly with a mix of a few sunny days and some rainfall. The months right after summer are a bit warmer but the days leading to Parisian winter are colder, as you’d imagine.

Just like packing for Paris winter, fall also requires a little bit of layering, especially on cold days though the layers may not be as many as those during winter.

Long-Sleeved Turtleneck Tops

You can’t go wrong with long-sleeved turtleneck tops. They never go out of style and can go with literally anything.

Choose bolder colors like this one in red, this one in white, or this dark blue one.

Short-Sleeved T-shirts

Some fall days may not be too cold to require a long-sleeved sweater top, so on such days, your usual short-sleeved t-shirts will come to the rescue.

White t-shirts like this one will always be my go-to for fall fashion in Paris. You can throw in a few dark-colored ones like this black T-shirt or this navy blue one.

Leather Jacket

Leather jackets should not miss in your luggage when it comes to packing for fall in Paris.

A leather jacket will always look nice regardless of what’s under it — be it a t-shirt or a turtle-neck top.

It will also make you look casual but smart like most Parisians look on a crisp fall day. I recommend taking this black leather jacket as you won’t have to worry about any color mismatches.

Sweater/Cardigan

If a leather jacket is not your thing, you can either substitute it with this sweater or this cardigan.

The sweater is warm and utterly cute. Pair it with a nice pair of jeans or even a skirt and you’re good to go.

Trench Coat

If you’re visiting during the months closer to winter, you’ll need to pack a trench coat. Choose a neutral-colored coat like this one so that you can wear it with all types of outfits. After all, packing more than one trench coat will be a bit too much.

If you travel at the end of fall, it is bound to be colder and just wearing jeans may not be enough to keep you warm.

Jeans are some of the must-have clothes to wear in Paris in the fall. They can work on all occasions and you can wear them several times for those who prefer to pack light.

Whether it’s roaming around the streets of Paris, visiting the famous Parisian landmarks, or even going out at night, jeans will always be there for you.

You can take any pair but if you’re in the market for new jeans, then I can’t recommend this pair of Jeans enough. Stick to dark colors instead of bright ones if you plan to recycle them.

Cute skirts

The beginning of fall is usually still warm, so you can wear skirts in Paris. Pair it with a cute top, knee-high boots, and a leather jacket and you’ll be slaying the streets of Paris.
