Most Instagrammable Places in Paris
In no particular order, here are my favorite Instagram spots in Paris!
1. Trocadéro square
First on the list of the best Instagram spots in Paris is no other than the Trocadéro square!
This place is directly opposite the Eiffel Tower so you’ll be able to take epic photos with the backdrop of the Iron lady herself!
One drawback about this spot is that it’s usually packed with lots of people which makes it almost impossible to take a photo without people in it.
The only way to avoid this is to either go at sunrise for a perfect sunrise photo or at night when most people are leaving!
And if you visit Paris in summer or in spring, you’ll be able to capture your photo with the warsaw fountain in the same frame which to me is a real beauty!
2. Trocadéro gardens
For a greener picture, slope down to the Trocadéro gardens, which is one of the popular parks in Paris. This is right next to the Trocadéro square so you can move back and forth as you see fit!
This Paris photo spot also offers amazing views of the Eiffel Tower! Though you can take Paris photos from the Trocadéro garden any time of the year, spring is the most beautiful because you get to take photos of the Eiffel tower framed with the beautiful pink cherry trees!
You can opt to stand or even sit on one of the park seats within the garden for an ultimate Eiffel Tower photo!
3. Pont de Bir-Hakeim
You can never have enough photos with the Eiffel Tower and a Parisian photo at Pont de Bir-Hakeim provides exactly this!
With beautiful lamps overhanging on the bridge plus a stunning Eiffel tower view, Pont de Bir-Hakeim is truly one of the most Instagrammable places in Paris!
This spot is also quite popular especially among couples and wedding photographers so be sure to go early in the morning!
Pont de Bir-Hakeim is specifically beautiful and unique during the fall as you’ll be able to capture the Eiffel tower with some beautiful fall foliage!
4. Passerelle Debilly
Another beautiful spot to take photos in Paris is the pedestrian bridge of Passerelle Debilly.
As the above Instagram places in Paris, this one also provides a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower!
What I like about this spot is that you get a glimpse of all the things that make Paris beautiful!
You’ll have a view of the Eiffel tower, the Seine river, the beautiful bridge, and the love locks that were locked on its rails as a sign of love! It can’t get more magical than this!
5. La Maison Rose
Away from the Eiffel tower, another Instagrammable place in Paris worth checking out is La Maison Rose!
Located in the beautiful village of Montmartre, this pink house rose to fame through Instagram probably because of its striking pink color and the history it harbors!
The spot is quite popular that it may be a bit hard to capture a photo without anyone in it! And since it’s an operating restaurant, there will be people almost all the time!
The best part is that you can have a meal here or a drink if you get hungry while taking photos of Paris!
I would say the best time to take Instagram photos here is during the fall when the house gets covered in orange and red-hued colors creating such a beautiful photo backdrop!
6. Rue de l’Abreuvoir
After taking Paris Instagram photos at La Maison rose, don’t be in a rush to leave as there is another spot worth stopping at, and that is Rue de l’Abreuvoir.
This is the street that La Maison Rose sits on and it ends at Place Dalida when you slope down! While it might look like an ordinary street, it turns into a rare beauty when you slope down and then look back!
From this street, you’ll be able to take an Insta worth photo that features the beautiful houses on the street and the Sacre-Coeur Basilica spiraling into the sky!
Any season is great but summer and fall bring out the true beauty of this spot as green or orange leaves grow on the walls of the houses on the street.
7. Moulin Rouge
Let’s keep the momentum in Montmartre for a second, shall we? You’ve probably heard of a cabaret show in Paris and one of the locations that organize outstanding performances is Moulin Rouge!
While watching the show is expensive, it doesn’t mean that you should miss out on the whole experience even if it’s just in photos!
With striking red colors and a cute windmill on top of the building, the Moulin Rouge makes for one of the best places to take photos in Paris!
Soak in all the beauty and erotism this place offers as you snap one of your next epic Insta photos!
8. Le consulat Restaurant
If you’ve lived on Instagram for a while, you’ve probably seen pictures of Le Consult on many accounts!
One may ask why of all the cute cafes in Paris, this one rose to fame as one of the best photo spots in Paris!
Le Consulat is not only an institution that has welcomed famous writers and artists but its beautiful red and white colors plus its entire chic vibe made Instagrammers and photographers fall in love with it!
Besides being a Paris Instagram spot, it also serves delicious meals and drinks so be sure to grab a drink while in the area! You may want to go early in the morning if you want to capture a beautiful photo with fewer photo bombers.
9. Rue Crémieux
Let’s leave Montmartre and head to the 12th arrondissement for a moment and stop by Rue Crémieux which is one of the prettiest streets in Paris!
Walking through Rue Crémieux is like walking into an already organized photoshoot set!
With the beautiful rainbow colors of the building, bikes leaning against the walls, overflowing flower pots, and a cobblestoned street, this is truly one of the most Instagrammable places in Paris.
But as you capture the beauty of this street, be mindful and respectful of the people living there since is a residential place!
10. Petit palais Golden Gate
One of the lesser Instagram spots in Paris is the golden gate at Petit Palais!
From afar, this gate looks really striking but as you get closer, it becomes even more dazzling and one you can’t resist stopping at for a photo!
The Grand Palais which is directly opposite to it may get all the credit when it comes to what to see and being famous, but the little palace takes it when it comes to photo spots in Paris!
11. Pont Alexandre III
Just right next to Petit Palace, there is Pont Alexandre III across the street which is as beautiful as life itself! In fact, it is the most beautiful bridge in Paris!
Besides offering stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, the bridge is perfectly designed with gold sculptures that add to its general beauty!
There are so many opportunities to take various photos from this spot! From photos with the Eiffel Tower and the Seine in one frame to photos that show a glimpse of the beautiful features of the bridge with the Invalides and the street lanterns; nothing is as beautiful as this spot for Paris photography!
12. Louvre museum
From the many Paris Instagram spots, this is probably the one that inhabits Paris’ art the most!
You may know it as being the permanent home for the most famous painting in the world; the Mona Lisa, but the Louvre museum, specifically at its large pyramid is also a contender when it comes to taking pictures in Paris!
Being one of the most visited landmarks in Paris, this spot is usually packed with tourists which makes it a bit hard to take cool photos; unless if you go in the morning; sunrises are the best!
With the background of the architectural marvel of the Louvre, the water fountain, and the transparent pyramid, this is truly one of the most Instagrammable places in Paris.
13. Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel
Just outside the Louvre, you’ll find another stunning landmark, Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel.
Just like the Arc de Triomphe which was commissioned to honor those who fought and died during the French revolution and Napoleonic wars, Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel was built to commemorate Napoleon’s military victories.
With all the honor and history it showcases, it would be a mistake to miss it while shooting photos in Paris!
It’s particularly beautiful at sunrise as the sun goes right through it but you can take stunning photos with it any time of the day!
14. Galeries Lafayette Rooftop
Paris rooftops are absolutely beautiful and one at Galeries Lafayette is not any exception!
The terrace offers stunning views of the city with points of interest being on the Opera, the Eiffel tower, and Paris’ roofs!
A photo from the terrace of Galeries Lafayette truly shows what Paris is all about; the Eiffel tower, the beautiful roofs, and everything in between!
15. Avenue De Camoëns
Continuing with the theme of capturing Instagrammable Paris photos with the Eiffel tower, let’s head to Avenue De Camoëns!
On this avenue, there is a treasure that many people miss without even realizing it!
At first glance, it may not look like a lot but climbing a few steps of the beautiful staircase in the corner opens up a whole new world of beauty or a photo opp in this case!
This place offers stunning photos with the backdrop of the Iron lady!
16. Rue de l’Université
For epic streets photos in Paris, you can’t go wrong at Rue de l’Université!
With a beautiful street view of the Iron lady, typical Parisian buildings with a cobble-stoned street, Rue de l’Université is one of the best Paris photo locations!
The spot is quite popular and beautiful all year round but I think it’s during fall that it full brings out its beauty!
With the Eiffel tower framed with beautiful orange fall leaves, a photo here will be all the rave when showing off your photos from Paris!
17. Sacre Coeur Steps
Seated on the highest point in Paris, Sacre Coeur is not only the icon of Montmartre but also one of the beautiful basilicas in the world!
And while you can admire its exterior and interior which are both impressive or even take in the city views from its domes, taking photos from its steps is a real dream!
From the steps, you can take stunning photos with both the white architectural marvel or turn the opposite side to capture the city!
18. Carousel Sacre-Coeur
After capturing photos from the steps of the Sacre-Coeur, slope down at the foot of the basilica gardens and go to Carousel Sacre-Coeur!
Paris is notorious for its beautiful carousels and this one near the basilica is no different!
With the basilica, the parvis of Sacre Coeur, and the Carousel in one frame, you can’t get a better Paris photo than this!
19. Rue de Steinkerque in Montmatre
I love street photos! I believe they truly bring out the true beauty of Paris and one that doesn’t fall short of those features is Rue de Steinkerque!
Engulfed by the beautiful shops of Paris including cafes, souvenir shops, and candy shops topped with a view of the basilica, a photo from Rue de Steinkerque is one for the books!
And if you want a cool photo prop, grab a cone of ice cream from the nearby ice cream shop and capture the beautiful memories you’re creating in the city of love!
This place gets extremely crowded since it’s kind of the main getaway to Sacre Coeur from the nearby metro so, you’re better off going there early in the morning or during the week.
20. Champs de mars
One of the obvious photography places in Paris is none other than Champs de Mar where the Eiffel tower seats!
This beautiful and large park offers stunning views of the Eiffel Tower and taking a photo here is a given!
Every season of the year is beautiful here but the cherry blossom season adds a beautiful touch of pink to the frame while fall brings out the beautiful colors of fall!
Whichever spot you’re at at the champs de Mars, you’re sure to capture beautiful Parisian photos with the Iron lady soaring through the skies!
21. Palais Royal
You may not know much about modern art, but the beautiful black and white short columns at Palais royal scream the perfect Instagram spot!
The area is quite big so you’ll have plenty to work with! While here, be sure to grab photos of the column with over-hanging lamps! it’s as beautiful as it sure sounds!
22. Pont d’Iéna
Paris is no short of bridges and another bridge that is worth stopping at to capture the Eiffel tower is Pont D’lena!
This bridge connects the Eiffel tower to the Trocadero ( and vice versa)! With the bridge, the Seine, and the Eiffel Tower in one shot, your Instagram followers will be jealous.
Though a photo from here is beautiful any time of the day, it’s at night that it displays its full beauty when the Eiffel Tower sparkles creating a beautiful reflection on the Seine.
23. Square Rapp
Here is another epic Paris photo spot on Avenue Rapp! Though the square is quite small, it is big on the views of the Eiffel!
A photo from here shows the Eiffel Tower being framed by a Parisian building on both ends!
After grabbing that photo, stroll around the square itself and admire the artwork and design of the building at the end of the square!
Yes, it’s beautiful and you may be tempted to take a photo but since it’s private property, they no longer allow any kind of photography of the building!
24. Sinking House of Montmartre
Welcome to the greatest photo illusions of all Paris! Located right next to Sacre Coeur, the sinking house which is actually a “straight building” is one of the best photography spots in Paris!
What makes it looks like it’s falling to the ground is just the way you hold the camera! Just tilt the camera when taking a photo from the grass near the basilica and wallah; you have an Instagram pic of the sinking house!
Regardless, it’s a cute building for those looking for an illusion with a pop of color!
25. Palais Garnier
With its stunning exterior and opulent interior, Palais Garnier is a true beauty that shouldn’t be missed!
Every aspect of it is Instagram-worthy but the 2 spots that stood out for me were the Grand Foyer which dazzles in gold and beautifully designed ceiling and chandeliers and the grand staircase.
The staircase is one of a kind in the whole world and capturing a photo here would truly make a statement!
26. Wall of Love
Paris lives up to its nickname as a city of love by having a large 40 square metres (430 sq ft) wall that proclaims love in over 250 languages!
The wall might be located in a small square garden of Jehan Rictus square in Montmartre but it’s definitely worth adding to your list of photo spots in Paris.
27. Eiffel tower first Floor
While most of the Paris photos spots on this list involved taking photos with the Eiffel tower, you should know that photos from the Eiffel tower herself are incredibly stunning too!
With a bird eyes view of the beautiful city, there is no better place to look down on Paris than at the Eiffel tower!
The Eiffel tower has 3 floors but for epic photos, you won’t go wrong on the first floor!
On this floor, you can still clearly see all the features below to recognize every landmark in the photo!
But being a popular European landmark, the queues can be incredibly long especially if you don’t know how to skip lines in Paris!
With that in mind, I recommend purchasing this skip-the-line ticket in advance to avoid wasting time!
28. Banks of the Seine
Though we tackled a few bridges on this list of Instagrammable places in Paris already, I had to include the banks of the famous Parisian river!
Not only because of their title as a UNESCO site but because of the beauty they impose from any angle!
Regardless of where you are, just walk towards the seine banks, and you’ll be greeted with beautiful views and a photogenic opportunity!
29. Hotel de Ville
Usually missed by many tourists, this administrative building is another great spot for photography in Paris!
The building’s architecture is as impressive as every tiny detail! But don’t be in a rush to book a room here yet because, despite its name, it’s not a hotel but rather an administration building.
30. Rue Saint-Dominique
There is nothing like too many photos of the Eiffel tower when it comes to Instagrammable spots in Paris and this pretty street in the 7th arrondissement is what it provides!
Get your camera ready and wait to be wowed by the beauty of this Eiffel Tower street view!

NEVER TRAVEL TO PARIS WITHOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE
One of the biggest mistakes you’ll ever make when planning a trip to Paris is to forego Travel Insurance!
